Now or Later, They are Already Doomed If you are a victim of black magic, you probably think that whoever did it to you should be punished. You can rest assured that even if you do nothing, they will be punished more than you imagine. People who do black magic (sorcerers) and people who hire sorcerers are both doomed. Not only is doing black magic a kind of shirk (believing in a god other than Allah), it’s the worse kind of shirk because it requires partnering or selling your soul to the devil for it to work. As such, black magic tops the list of sins in Islam. وَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مَا يَضُرُّهُمۡ وَلَا يَنفَعُهُمۡ وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمُواْ لَمَنِ ٱشۡتَرَٮٰهُ مَا لَهُ ۥ فِى ٱلۡأَخِرَةِ مِنۡ خَلَـٰقٍ۬ وَلَبِئۡسَ مَا شَرَوۡاْ بِهِۦۤ أَنفُسَهُمۡ لَوۡ ڪَانُواْ يَعۡلَمُونَ (١٠٢ … And they learn that which harms them and profits them not.
