Sihr And Its Effects
Sihr in English terms is Black Magic or Jadu according to the Indian understanding. We do not like to use the word BLACK MAGIC because some people believe that even BLACK MAGIC can be good, whereas no Black Magic can be good because it all involves Shirk. Allah also uses the word SIHR in Quraan and we understand that this word only relates to evil and wrong doing. Sihr is the main problem and always needs to be destroyed before you can totally remove all the Jinn. Sihr makes the most problems and causes the symptoms but Jinn come and make the Sihr more effective, therefore the idea is to mainly attack the Sihr. Attacking Sihr is done with Quraan. Sihr has primary effects and secondary effects. The primary effect is to block life and this will show that the person is affected with Sihr.
