Questions & Answers

Who was the First Jinn?

We do not possess any clear statements about this from the Qur’an. There is one very weak Narration which is rejected by most of the Imam for its unreliable source. Yet, many scholars believe Iblees is the father of the Jinn, both good and evil jinn, just like Adam is the father of all mankind. They say Iblees is their origin and they [Jinn] are his offspring.

First Opinion

Shaikh ul-Islaam Ibn Taimiyya called Iblees the father of all the jinn in many places. Most of them recorded in Majmo’ al-Fatwa. Later on, all of his students – Ibn al-Qayyim and al-Haafiz Ibn Hajar and so on, they too agreed to it.

Their opinion is based on the following verses of the Qur’an.

“And the jinn He created from a smokeless flame of fire” [ar-Rahmaan 55:15]

When Iblees and the Angles were commanded by Allah to prostrate to Adam,

Iblees said “‘I am better than him (Adam), You created me from fire, and him You created from clay’” [al-A’raaf 7:12]

“Will you then take him (Iblees) and his offspring as protectors and helpers rather than Me while they are enemies to you?” [al-Kahf 18:50]

Second Opinion

It is the opinion to which Most of the scholars agree, is that ‘Iblees was the father of the EVIL-Jinn [Demons] Only. They are known as Shaytaan, meaning an Evil Jinn, and the father of all the Shayateen is Iblees.

“Will you then take him (Iblees) and his offspring as protectors and helpers rather than Me while they are enemies to you?” [al-Kahf 18:50]

Third Opinion

A few scholars, however, believe that Iblees is simply ‘one of the Jinn’, and not their father. They follow this by stating the following verse from Surah al-Kahf,

“Except for Iblees, He was of the jinn” (al-Kahf: 50)

Why were jinn created?

Allah says in the Qur’an, Chapter 51: verse 56

“And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.” (Adh-Dhariyat 56)

Jinn & Mankind both have one thing in common – ‘Free will’

Therefore, Jinn are responsible for their actions just like Humans are. Satan (Iblees) was given such a high status only for his ‘worship’ to Allah. For one who is obedient to Allah will have paradise in the hereafter. For those who rebel (Shaytaan) are cast into hell fire.

On the Day of Judgment, Allah will address both Human and the Jinn,

“O you assembly of jinn and humankind! Came there not unto you Messengers of your own who recounted unto you My tokens and warned you of this Day? They will say: We testify against ourselves. And the life of this world beguiled them. And they testify against themselves that they were disbelievers.” (al-Anam 130).

“Enter into the Fire among nations of the jinn and humankind who passed away before you.” (al-A’raaf 37)

“But the word from Me concerning evildoers took effect: that I will fill hell with the jinn and mankind together.” (as-Sajda 13)

They also have glad tidings revealed to them, in Surah ar-Rahmaan [Chapter 55], the Surah which is sent down for both Jinn and Mankind. I would recommend every brother to read it with translation.

“But for him (jinn/human) who fears the standing before his Lord there are two gardens(in paradise). Which is it, of the favors of your Lord, which you deny?”
(ar-Rahmaan 46-47)

Wisdom behind the creation of the Jinn

Some may say they have their independent world, irrelevant to our world, others may say they are created simply to mislead us. However we do not  possess clear evidence for such statements. It is a matter of personal opinions so I would like to present my own opinion here.

We sometimes wonder, “Why would Allah the Most Merciful cast Satan (Iblees) out of heavens? Why for denying only ONE prostration? When we Muslims miss most of the prostrations to our Lord” (Allah forgive us)

In my earlier article about “Types & Categories of Jinn”, I mentioned a category by the name ‘Qareen’. Hadith from Sahih Muslim,

Prophet (saw) said, “Every one of you has been assigned a companion from the Jinn.” The companions asked: Even you O’ Messenger of Allah? And the Prophet replied: Even me, except that Allah has helped me against him and he has submitted.”
Brother asked the Question:

How are jinn proven by Science?

Well brother, it depends on the person’s faith in the first place. It can be proven in many ways. People who believe in God’s existence can easily be answered from their own religious books. However if someone does not have faith in God and is an atheist, then we speak their language.

1 – Science tells us, we can never dream/imagine things we have never known before in our lives. What we imagine and dream are mere the things we have already known and have played with. If that is so, where do spirits/jinn/demon come from?

2 – If Science cannot prove something, it does not mean that the subject is a lie.

There are tons of sightings which science still cannot describe when they in fact exist! Science tells us about the existence of more dimensions! But just because we cannot see them does not mean they do not exist! We can see 2D images on paper but a 2D image cannot see us because we are 3D. Likewise we cannot see the world of Jinn when they can see us and can appear to us. Here’s a video for a demonstration,

3 – Science till date could not understand the phenomenon of Exorcism. They call it a psychological disease, but FAIL to describe how the possessed person speaks ANOTHER LANGUAGE, and how he speaks of things which the possessed person has never known throughout his life!

4 – Science till date could not describe how Ruqya (Ritual) frees the possessed person from this so-called psychological disease in Minutes, when Medical science does not cure him in years!

I would like to mention the fact that if a psychological disease does occur to any one of my family or your family, I would suggest examining the patient as a doctor First, but if that fails and symptoms of possession become clear, you cannot damage his health by forcing him to take non-effective drugs afterward, and when I have a choice to heal him with the Word of God in mere two minutes, why would I try and risk his life with overdose?

Ruqya (Ritual) involves Nothing more than calling the Jinn from the inside of the possessed person by reciting verses of the Qur’an and asking him [the jinn] question for why he has possessed that man. The Jinn speaks by the tongue of that man in a language that might be local or foreign, depending on where the Jinn originally belongs to. The voice however is always different than the original voice of that man/woman. The exorcist then tells him that it is a bad thing to do so and that he will be held accountable for all of this agony. After mere a conversation the Jinn agrees on leaving the body and amazingly the person comes into his own senses! [I will write a full article on how a possessed person is cured, God willingly]

5 – But some people are stubborn; they want to see everything with their own eyes, same way they want to see God with their own eyes to believe in His existence. But God does not need the love of Human; we Humans needs the love of God.

If your friends do not believe in Jinn, they are surely not afraid of things like spirits, demons & possession. I would recommend you take them to an Islamic-exorcist and show them how an exorcist heals this so called – Psychologically ill person in minutes, merely through a conversation. Let them witness how the possessed person speaks the language of another land, speaks of things the person has never known, and most importantly, the voice of the possessed person that is completely different to his original voice. And in a matter of minutes the possessed person is stunningly a normal being again.

Science totally fails to describe the above phenomenon and their pills NEVER work on recovering these people, until the possessed is taken to an exorcist.

Here is a video for a demonstration of an exorcism,

Videos online are rare, I would still recommend you visit an Imam exorcist so everyone can witness it with their own eyes.

6 – Reading history is the best way to understand the reality of this subject. I would like to quote Ibn-Tamiyya who said,

The jinni entering the body of the humans is confirmed by the agreement of the leaders of the people of the Sunna and every other community.

Abdullah, the son of Imam Ahmad ibn-Hanbal said, I said to my father,
“Some people say that the jinn does not enter the body of the possessed” My father said, “Oh my son, they are lying. It is that [jinn] which speaks by his tongue”

Ibn Taimiya said, “What he [Ahmad] said is well-known. The possessed person speaks a language that he himself does not understand. And his body may be struck with a ferocious beating, such that it would leave a great mark on a camel. The possessed person does not perceive the strike nor does he perceive the words that he is speaking. The possessed may lift others heavier than him. He may pull out the carpet he is sitting upon… and other such things that have been witnessed and reported by reliable sources. He speaks with the tongue of the human and he moves with that body but he is a specie other than a human.

Human studied books and nature of Allah, Allah gave them wisdom and knowledge about his creation, and now Human claim God to be spiritual and ignorant of the real knowledge, and they claim science to be the achievement of the efforts of Human alone. When they forget that the very science is the knowledge from Allah through which one can prove His existence.

Protection from the Evil-Jinn [Demons]

Remembrance of Allah is one of the greatest acts that will save the person from Evil-jinn /Satan/Demons.

Abu Hurayrah has related the following incident that was recorded in Sahih al-Bukhari and other books. Abu Hurayrah said that the Prophet had put him in charge of guarding the zakat of Ramadhaan. He related, “Someone came to me and began to take portions of the food. I caught him and told him that I was going to take him to the Messenger of Allah.” The man complained, “I am in great need and I have children dependent on me.”

Therefore I let him go. In the morning, the Prophet (peace be upon him) asked me, “What happened to the one you caught last night, Abu Hurayrah?”

I replied, “Oh Messenger of Allah, he pleaded with me concerning his great need and his dependent children, so I felt pity for him and let him go.” The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “He lied to you and he will be back.”

I knew that he would therefore return because the Prophet (peace be upon him) had said so. I waited for him. When he came, he again began to take loads of food. I caught him again and again told him that I was going to take him to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). But when he pleaded, “Let me go. I am in great need and have children dependent on me,”

I again had mercy on him and let him go. In the morning, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) again asked me, “Oh Abu Hurayrah, what happened to your prisoner last night?” I replied, “Oh Messenger of Allah, he complained to me of his great need and dependent children so I let him go again.” The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “He has lied to you and he will return.”

I again waited for him and again he came and began to take loads of food. I caught him once again. I told him, “This time I will definitely take to the Messenger of Allah. This is the third time you have done such an act.”

This time the man said to me, “If you let me go I will teach you some words by which Allah will greatly benefit you! When you go to your bed recite the verse of the throne – Ayat-ul-kursi [al-Baqara: 255], “Allah, there is no god but He, the Living, the Eternal…” to the end of the verse. If you do so a guardian from Allah will come and protect you from the devils until the morning.” I decided to let him go.

In the morning, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) again asked me, “What happened to your prisoner last night, Abu Huraira?” I answered, “He claimed that he would teach me some words that would benefit me greatly.” The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “He has told the truth although he is a liar. Do you know who the person you’ve been talking to for the last three nights was?” I replied in the negative. The Prophet (peace be upon him) told me, “That was a devil…”

I would like to stress, most of our brothers believe in mere recitation as Protection from Evil, but in fact, it is the Meaning within that protects people. Let us, for once, think; why Ayat-ul-kursi has such significance in protection from Evil?

When you believe, that there is One God; Creator of All; Hearer of All; and Protector of All. Someone whom No Slumber can seize, nor Sleep! The Ever-Living! The Most Merciful! What then can harm HIS creation without HIS permission? Yes brother, it is all in the translation of Ayat-ul-kursi. Once you have Faith, that Allaah is With you, it is You who has to Remember Him, what then can harm you? Alhamdullillaah.

Practical Proof –

In Majmu al-Fatawa, Ibn Taimiya explained some of the ways of the devils in tempting people. He wrote,

I know some people whom the plants would talk to and tell them of their beneficial ingredients. Actually, Satan who had entered the plant was the one talking. And I know people to whom the bushes and rocks would say, “Welcome, o devoted servant of Allah.” If they read ‘The Verse of the Throne’ [al-Baqarah: 255] all of that would stop. I know of some people who go bird hunting and the sparrows and others say to them, “Take me so the poor can eat me.” A Satan had entered the bird and spoken in the same way he enters humans and speaks from them.

And some people are in their houses with the doors locked and see themselves outside while they did not open the door and vice-versa. Similar is the case with the city gates. Jinn take them in and out of them quickly. Lights will shine for them. Or a person who he was seeking would appear while actually it was Satan appearing like his friend. If they recite ‘The Verse of the Throne’ Over and over, all of that Stops.

In the book written by Wahid Ibn Abdessalam, when he was performing an exorcism, he mentions:

A man brought his wife for treatment and said that his wife hated him very much and felt relaxed at home, during his absence. When I asked few questions, it appeared to me, from the symptoms she had that she suffered from sihr of separation. After listening to the ruqya [reciting Surah’s of Quran to provoke the jinn in a possessed person], a Jinn spoke in her person. Here is a summary of our dialogue:

Q: “What is your name?”
A: “I will not tell you my name”

Q: “What is your religion?”
A: “Islam”

Q: “Do you think it is lawful for a Muslim to torture a Muslim?”
A: “I love her, and I am not torturing her All I want is that her husband should keep away from her,”

Q: “You want to separate them, don’t you?”
A: “Yes”

Q: “You cannot do that Get out of her, for the sake of Allah’s obedience,”
A: “No, I love her,”

Q: “But she hates you”
A: “No, she loves me,”

Q: “You are a liar, She hates you and that is why she has come here to get you out of her body,”
A: “I will not get out”

Q: “Then, I will burn you with the Qur’an (by reciting verses) ,”

I recited some verses over her and he screamed,

Q: “Will you get out now?”
A: “Yes, but conditionally”

Q: “What is your condition?”
A: ‘To get out of her and to enter in your body,”

Q: “All right, get out of her and enter into my body if you can”

The Jinn waited for a moment then cried,

Q: “Why are you crying?”
A: “No Jinn can enter into your body today,”

Q: “Why?”
A: “Because this morning, you said:

[La ilaha illallahu, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa huwa ‘ala kulli shai’in qadir‘]

{There is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner with Him; His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is able to do all things} 100 times.

And the Prophet (peace be upon him) was truthful when he said:

“Whosoever says: [La ilaha illallahu, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa huwa ‘ala kulli shai’in qadir‘] 100 times a day, will have a reward equal to the manumission of 10 slaves, will have ten good deeds added to and ten bad deeds erased from his register, and will be protected by this supplication the Satan throughout the day until the evening, No one is better than he who says this supplication except a man who says more.”

There are many verses of the Quran and hadith referring to many supplications to help protect oneself from Satan. But overall, it is very comprehensive; Remembrance of Allah is the greatest acts that will save a person from Demons. But the above two [Verse of the Throne & Later supplication] are witnessed to have practically protected people from Demons, when they are confronted by one. You may recite any surah of the Quran, specially the last two Surahs. Or do Zikr, remembering Allah at all times, and you will always be protected by the Will of Allah.

However, if someone is possessed, and cannot protect themselves then that would most probably be Sihr [Magic]; in that case the Witch strictly orders the jinn to possess the victim by Force. Although the jinn burns when possessing someone who remembers Allah, yet he will face a bitter punishment from the Witch if he does not obey his [Witch’s] commands. This would then require an exorcism [Ruqya]. I will write about that in detail Insha’Allah.

‘We seek refuge in Allah from evil’

How many Jinn can enter one body & how many times?

First of all, I would like you to read the article Jinn Possession, before you can understand the following.

Multiple Jinn can possess a single person. It has been confirmed by reliable witnesses. Even today, when a Healer performs an exorcism, he often confronts multiple jinn dwelling inside the possessed body. I have personally witnessed a couple of jinn (husband & wife) dwelling in a single body.

If you read the topic – The Causes of being possessed – in the article Jinn Possession; we come to know of the fact that, it is painful and agonizing for a jinn to possess a body in the first place. They might easily possess someone who does not believe in Allah. However, it is one of their agenda to distract people from the right path and never bother possessing them for they are already on the wrong path. Yet, there are wicked jinn who might still possess a few.

But overall, most of the possessions are the cause of Sihr (witchcraft). We might refer to the article Agreement between a Witch and a Demon – HERE. Looking at the conversation between the Jinn and the Exorcist at the bottom of the article, we can easily conclude that it truly is painful for jinn to possess a human, yet they are forced by Witches to obey their tasks.

About how many times a jinn can possess a human body; it has been witnessed but rarely does the same jinn possesses the same victim multiple times (i.e. after exorcism). Depending on the Faith of the exorcist, the higher the level of Faith, the more his recitation burns the jinn. But it happens in rare cases that the same jinn returns to the same body after exorcism. Since Quran recitation by the exorcists burn the jinn within a possessed body, it is unlikely for the jinn to return.

Dwelling places of Jinn

The jinn live upon the same earth as humans do. Most of them can be found among the ruins and dilapidated areas, as well as the places where there are many impure things, such as, bathrooms, hashish dens, the places of the camels, cemeteries. For that reason, as Ibn Taimiya said, those people who are close to Satan usually inhibit such areas. We often notice Magicians visiting such places at night times.

There are hadith that say that one should not pray in bathrooms due to the impurities present and because it is the abode of Satan, or in cemeteries as this leads to polytheism and it is also a home for the devils. They often avoid human civilization and live far away in the deserts. Matter of fact, most of the people who have encountered jinn are Travelers. Travels in the old days through the deserts of Egypt were more likely to be haunted and distracted by jinn.

Zayd ibn Arqam reported: The Apostle of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said,

“These privies [public bathrooms] are frequented by the jinns and devils [i.e. any jinn in general]. So when anyone amongst you goes there, he should say: ‘I seek refuge in Allah from male and female shaitaan.’” [Dawud: Book 1: Hadith 6]

Narrated by Jabir: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said,

“When night falls, then keep your children close to you, for the devils spread out then. An hour later you can let them free; and close the gates (i.e. doors) of your house (at night), and mention Allah’s Name thereupon (i.e. Bismillah), and cover your utensils (i.e. foods), and mention Allah’s Name thereupon, (and if you don’t have something to cover your utensil) you may put across it something (e.g. a piece of wood, etc.).” [Bukhari: Book 4: Volume 54: Hadith 500]

Another hadith:

“If you can, do not be the first one to enter the marketplace. And do not be the last to leave it. For they are the places of Satan and therein he raises his banner.”

This hadith was recorded in Sahih Muslim. The devils love to sit between the shade and the sunlight; mostly in alleys. For this reason the Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade the Muslims to sit in such places. This hadith was recorded in the books of Sunan and other works and it is sahih.

Besides these dwellings, the jinns are also known to live underground and within water. Because of their dwellings most jinn carry a foul stench. Many of them avoid the daylight and usually come out during the night. The fact that jinn hide in the shade of the sunlight outdoors & in the shadows of water streams, has been confirmed by many researchers.
Answers to Multiple Questions 01 about-jinn

Q: How can jinn fall in love with people?

A: Yes, it is one of the causes of Possession.

Read here – Jinn possession (2nd Topic – Causes of Possession)

Also read – Marriage between human and jinn

Q: How long can jinn stay possessed in a person?

A: As long as Allah wills him to, and until an exorcism is performed.

Q: Can the person possessed by jinn perform ruqya themselves or get rid of the jin by themselves?

A:You may refer to the topic – Protection from Evil-Jinn – However, it still requires a 3rd person to speak to the jinn and know for what purpose he has possessed the person. The 3rd person then has to convince the jinn either way, asking about his religion if he is a muslim one can tell him it is wrong to do so, Or, he may even ask the jinn to leave or be burnt with the Quran recitation. I will write about how to perform a full ruqya soon Insha’Allah. Fact is, if jinn possesses the mind, then it is likely impossible to cure oneself. Other than that, if it has possessed an organ or a body part, that may be cured with self recitation. Ayat-ul-kursi is most effective.

Q: Can jinn harm us physically?

A: Yes they can harm us physically; the causes for possession are almost the same as the causes for harming us.

Q: Do young jins possess people?

A: Well, I think I’ll have to ask a jinn about his age the next time I go to an exorcism.

I believe, just like children are afraid of jinn, likewise their children are afraid to enter to this dimension; for they might hurt themselves.

Q: How can you get rid of jin in your home? How do you know if jin are in your home?

A: There is a hadith that says, “” do not let your houses to be like graves. The house in which Sura Al-Baqara is recitde, the shaytaan never enters” It also refers to Ayat-ul-kursi (verse of the throne) Verse 255 of Surah al-Baqara.

Hadith: “Ask forgiveness for our companion. In Madina there are jinn that embraced Islam. if any of you should see one of them [that is, a snake], he should give him warning for three days. If it appears after that, it should be killed because it is, therefore, a devil.” It is from an incident when a companion of the Prophet (pbuh) stabbed a snake in his room and in the morning both the snake and the companion were found dead.

Hadith: “Snakes are the forms of the transmutations of the shape of the jinn in the same way that the apes and swine were transmutations of the tribe of Israel.”

Hadith: “Do not kill the jinn, except every one with two streaks on the back, for they cause miscarriages and take away the eyesight. Therefore, kill them.”

All the above hadith are Sahih.

Q: The prophet(peace and blessing be upon him) said everyone has a jinn with them what does this really mean?

A: That jinn is called Qareen. You may refer to that in Types & Categories of Jinn, The last one is Qareen.

Q: can you get rid of the jin with you from birth forever?

A: No, it is bound to the body until the person dies. “Verily, Satan flows in the like the flowing of the blood.” It is also recorded in the two Sahih that Safiyya bint Hayy reported.

Q: Can highly religious people have jin, those who fear and love Allah (S.W.T.)?

A: Highly religious people avoid jinn. The jinn however might contact a highly religious scholar only to know about the glad tidings which Allah has to revealed to them, and to know more about the teachings of Islam. Other than that, jinn live around us in a way you can imagine as if you walk among blind and deaf people. You might wonder why one would even contact the deaf and the blinded.

Therefore, the ones who contact have a specific purpose, either to learn about the reality of this universe, the word of Allah. OR, they might simply be working for witches. In fact, they have a world of their own. They do not need us, however there are some HUMANS who think they can get help from them, and that is why they ask for help but only the devils agree on helping him, all in return for his soul/faith.

Q: How many jinn can enter a body and how many times?

A: Read the answer HERE

Q: What types of places do jin dwell?

A: Dwelling places of jinn and demons. Read the answer HERE

Q: What types of people do jin possess?

A: You may find the answer HERE – Jinn Possession

Q: How can you get rid of a jinn controlling your organs or another part of your body etc…

A: You may recite AyatulKursi (Surah Baqara: 255) Verse of the Throne and the last 3 Surahs of the Quran over olive oil and rub the affected organ with it.

Q: how do you know if someone might be doing black magic?any opinions?

A: There are different types of Magic. They are categorized on the basis of Symptoms. You may refer to the types of Magic from the Contents page to know more about them.
Answers to Multiple Questions 02 about-Jinn

Comment#1:

Assalam Waleikum..

Alhamdulillah this site is very informative. Good efforts.
I wonder how do you know so much about them. Whenever i ask someone (Aalim/Maulana)
about them they say “Stay away from this topic”.
Anyways my query is a kind of story:

Few months ago there were some strange activities going on in my home like hearing sound of throwing stones at night,

disappearance of materials(clothes, book etc), someone kicking at the doors etc.
At that time i was not at home because i use to stay out for my studies.
My family told me that our home was under the influence of some witchcraft,
they called some people(one who keeps knowledge) they told that two amulets have
been buried into our compound in two different places and that my brother was possessed
by a jinn and a pari. They further added that someone sent some devils to our home to disturb us

some 12 years ago. My brother used to get dreams of snakes etc and after some days he met with a motorcycle accident. He was severly injured.
Alhamdulillah he is well now. Some days ago i was also getting such dreams.
In these we have lost everything our property, studies, health etc.

Surprisingly a non-muslim was doing all these things with the help of a person(a muslim) who used to visit our home
and that person use to steal our clothes (especially black) which we came to know some months ago.

The situation is better but not everything is good. I want to know can a non-muslim do such thing? Can a jinn steal things?

Is it haram for us to wear amulets? If it is can you please give the reference. What exactly was going on in my home and what to now when all this happened? Please advise.
JazakALLAHU Khairn.

Comment#2:

Brother Ali,

It was the intention of a Muslim person who knew us and who used to visit our home to bewitch our home but since she(the person) does not know anything about how to do, so, she approached a non-muslim black magician. And she is the one who used to steal our clothes (especially black).

And two Muslim ladies helped us in the matter and these two ladies took out the two amulets that were buried into our compound.
They told us that the amulets were buried some 10 years ago. And surprisingly the condition of the paper that was inside the amulets were as if it was written today. The papers were fine as if it were new. And a table with some strange letters was drawn in the papers.

So,there are three parties:

1. A Muslim person who knew us and used to visit us and steal our clothes.
2. A Non-Muslim Black Magician who sent devils to our home.
3. Two Muslim ladies who helped us.

Answers

Q: I want to know can a non-muslim do such thing?

Brother, if you mean to ask if a non-muslim can use jinn to trouble others, then you should know that, whoever practices magic are non-muslims. Making devils to submit to your command requires him to be a follower of Satan, and requires him to worship the demon chiefs. You may refer to the articles of How does a Witch bring about a demon. There are many ways out of which I have mentioned 7.

Q: Can a jinn steal things?

Yes, it has been recorded in the history books in great many places. I will refer just one – named al-Hallaaj. Ibn Taimiyya recorded his story as: “He was a magician, and sometimes devils would serve him. He was with some of his companions on Abu Qabis Mountain. They asked him for some sweets. He went off to a place close by and brought a plate of sweets. Later it was determined that those sweets had been stolen from a store in Yemen and a devil had carried it to that place (top of a mountain).”

Jinn are known to carry magicians over their back and make them travel long distances. People in pre-islamic times even sent/received letters through long distances with their help. But the things over which Allah’s name is mentioned is cannot be approached by devils. The Prophet (pbuh) mentioned this about LOCKS of the doors, that the devil cannot open the lock on which Allah’s name has been mentioned.

Q: What exactly was going on in my home?

Brother, what you mentioned is heard quite often, and they mostly are the work of jinn. Hearing stones thrown on the roof, knocking of the doors in the house and many other relevant stories are confirmed by reliable witnesses. I have written a new article for you about Jinn of the House and also referred to How one can protect his house with the word of Allah.

Q: About having Bad dreams:

They are truly from Satan/jinn: “If one of you sees a dream that he likes, it is from Allah. He should praise Allah for it and he should relate it to others. If he sees what he dislikes, it is from Satan. He should seek refuge in Allah from it and not mention it to anyone. Thereby, it will not harm him.”

Recorded in Sahih al-Bukhari.

If you have read the above article about Jinn of the Houses You would now understand why one particularly sees Snakes in his dreams. It is their transmuted form. Taking the shape of a Dog and a Snake are mostly preferred by evil jinn, and the color BLACK.

Q: Someone stole clothes from your house:

About the clothes being stolen from the house: My best guess is that, they are used as a CHARM/KEY, by the Witch/Magician. A magician requires Something that has been in contact with the victim. They then use that Something (mostly clothes/garments) as a CHARM/KEY for the jinn to identify his Victims. I would strictly suggest you read the article Distinctive Features of a Witch/Magician. So that you may understand whether the Healers that came to your home are True healer or just another Magician trying to help with the help of their Own jinn. There is no such thing as WHITE magic. When you can repel evil with the word of Allah – Quran, you do not require the assistance of another jinn to do the same.

Q: Amulets found in your compound:

About the amulets found in your compound: It may be, (Allah knows best), that the healers that came to your house are fake healers, they might have implanted the amulets and then extracted them in front of you. Most importantly, you should see WHAT CHARM/KEY was used in those amulets. If it had the piece of those black clothes that were stolen from you, then it was indeed the work of that old magician, But if it were something new and yet it did not look familiar, it might be that the healers are fake and they are merely dramatizing the whole scenario just to get more money, but Please, I am only saying this on the basis of My experience, and on the basis of what happens 80% of the times. Allah knows best brother. But I would want you to go through my articles from the Contents Page and learn more about the signs of magicians and how to seek protection from the evil.

I hope I have helped you brother Mustaq. Please keep me updated on your condition.

May Allah bless you and your home and protect it against all Evil.

Are there tribes of jinns? Like my cousin told me when he was at a mosque, a whole tribe of jinns (the jinns said there were only seven of them, but there were actually a hundred) possessed the guy. One spoke Spanish and the other spoke Chinese, some of them speaking Urdu and there was even one from New York?!

The guy who was possessed was Somali. Do jinns have some kind of jinn language? My cousin said he heard some other languages he didn’t know. The Chinese jinn obviously couldn’t communicate with the Spanish one. There was one that spoke English.

I heard when a jinn possesses the mind, the person can use telekinesis and they have super-strength. I also heard that if you throw hot water where the jinn is, it will get angry at you and possess you. Is that true?

Last time my teacher told me that he was sick in the hospital and his son went up to him and said, “Don’t worry, you would be out of the hospital in 21 days.” He was right. This was the Rooh, right?

Jazakallah.

Oh yes, one more question. This isn’t related to the jinn.

I have a picture a flower hung up on my wall and an anatomy poster. I have a bookshelf and some of them have pictures on the cover. Will angels still enter my room?

Answers

Q: Are there tribes of jinns?
A: Yes, tribes are many among jinn. You may refer to the article – Sects Among Jinn

Q: What language do Jinn speak?
A: They speak the language of the land, they might have their own language or way of communication among themselves, but when they speak through the possessed person, they speak the language of the land they belong to originally.

Q: I heard when a jinn possesses the mind, the person can use telekinesis and they have super-strength.
A: Yes, refer to the article Jinn Possession, where Ibn Taimiyya mentions that the possessed might lift objects heavier than himself.

Q: I also heard that if you throw hot water where the jinn is, it will get angry at you and possess you. Is that true?
A: Yes, most of the possessions are the cause of the above. Stated by Ibn Taimiyya in the last section of the above article – Jinn Possession (causes included)

Q: Last time my teacher told me that he was sick in the hospital and his son went up to him and said, “Don’t worry, you would be out of the hospital in 21 days.” He was right. This was the Rooh, right?
A: Rooh, you mean the type of jinn that follows children? It might have been a co-incidence that the child said it consciously. We cannot assume that Jinn know the unknown. This is proven from Solomon’s Death.

Q: I have a picture a flower hung up on my wall and an anatomy poster. I have a bookshelf and some of them have pictures on the cover. Will angels still enter my room?
A: Pictures mean Paintings of Real people, It refers mostly to the Pagan Worshipers/Statue Worshipers. There is no harm in keeping an art that does not have any significance to you. Unless it is a Portrait of a Living Being/Idol. I will refer a story of Aisha (ra), I’m in a hurry right now and I will post that later on Insha’Allah.

I hope Ive answered the Questions, Keep your questions coming.

Question, Multiple Jinn Possessing One body

assalam alikum

i read your post and its quite interested but i have a few questions this is just one a sorcer have an agreement with leader of that jinn and the jinn he has let say about 1000 when a rukyah is performed if the jinn in the possesd person cant leave cause it have others guarding him what do the person who performing rukyah do challenge the main jinn who have contract with magian or try to challenge the magian what is the correct procedure
please that will be helpful
thank you

Answer

Wa’alaikum as Salaam brother Ali,

Good question. Multiple Jinn may possess a victim, it has been known through experience. When a healer counters a scenario when he feels that multiple Jinn have possessed a body, they often call every jinn involved with the help of the first jinn to speak through the human tongue. Normally, when ruqya is performed, all jinn come to speak from the possessed body because the appointed jinn are bound to the victim at all times, until the CHARM is destroyed.

Coming to your question; first of all, sorcerers never get to have 1000 jinn working for them. Even if they do, they never send all of them onto one person, unless it is something very personal to the sorcerer. I will Insha’Allah upload some reports/conversations recorded from exorcisms, which tell us that a jinn often wants to embrace Islam but he mentions that he has other jinn looking at him and he worries that they might hurt him if he does so. The healer then suggests memorizing Ayat-ul-Kursi, and to go and dwell with the Muslim jinn in Makha and Madina.

To clarify your doubts, the main purpose of a Ruqya is to find out where the CHARM is buried/hidden. If Multiple Jinn are bound to one victim, and one jinn gets to speak from the human tongue then THAT jinn (no matter he is 1/1000 of the jinn appointed to that victim), will know where the charm is hidden. Often the jinn says that he knows where the charm is but there is another jinn who will take the charm away to a different location. These are mostly lies, the jinn tell many lies so such sayings should not be trusted.

The healer should ask about where the Charm is hidden, and once it is found and destroyed, the healer may ask the jinn to call the other jinn entrusted to that task of Sihr on that particular victim, and likewise, depending on their religion the healer should talk to everyone of them. If the jinn is a Muslim, the healer should convince him not to bother other Muslims as it is forbidden in our religion. If he is not a Muslim then the healer should invite him to Islam. Matter of fact is, the healer may simply tell the jinn to leave since the Charm is already found through One of them. But that too depends if the healer wishes please Allah by inviting others into Islam.

I hope I have answered your question. Please keep your questions coming.
Question, Feeling of having Good Jinn Around

Sir, I’d like to know when good jinns posses a person they like to have sweets/food that are from milk and sugar and thats what give them energy (like we eat when we r hungry) is it true?

Can i talk to the jinns which i posses. I have 7 female jinns(good jinns who work only to please allah) i was given them by a very wellwishing uncle .He never charged me any money rather evrytime i went to house he always use to treat me unbelivable well just to protect me from the bad and the ones that want to harm me. They usually fight with the bad jinns and they stay close when i obey Allah (like praying 5 times a day). According to my uncle. I also discoverd when i have sweets and pray salah regularly they guide me to good things. What i also discoved that when i stay for abstinence for a long time; after 2 weeks i have wet dream. what i discovered that sexual please is greatest pleasure that they want. i have I really love them.

Now r my discoveries true?

I’d like to see them in front and talk to them. I really love them. Is it possible I heard that female jinns are very beautiful?

Can i talk to any of them by any means?

Sir i ‘ll b waiting for ur reply.

Assalaamu Alaikum,

Brother, to your query: “Sir, I’d like to know when good jinns posses a person they like to have sweets/food that are from milk and sugar and thats what give them energy (like we eat when we r hungry) is it true?”

Yes, Jinn have a taste for things. The famous scholar of hadith, al-Amaash said,
“A jinn appeared among us. I said to him, ‘What is your favorite food?’ He said, ‘Rice.’ We brought some to him and ….”

Other than this, Zar-Circles, a type of ritual to cure possessed people. It is a method in which women sing a song demanded by the very jinn possessing the patient. The Zar-circle women also slaughter animals and other tasks as the Jinn wishes. Once the Jinn is pleased, he leaves the body. Different jinn have different demands, proving what you are asking. The jinn that dwell with you might be fond of Chocolates (i-e if You are not fond of them in the first place).

You say that you do not/cannot talk to them, yet you seem to know more than enough. I’m sorry but, how do you know they are good jinn and they fight bad jinn?
“I also discoverd when i have sweets and pray salah regularly they guide me to good things.”

Brother, what do you mean by good things here?

About wetdreams, brother we cannot be sure it is because of the Jinn you have with you. We are only Human and that would naturally happen to others if they abstain.
“I’d like to see them in front and talk to them. I really love them.”
“Can I talk to any of them by any means?”

But brother, once again, you are asking on how you can to talk to them, but you seem to know a lot more. I’m sorry but it looks like a trap to me. I hope I don’t offend you with this but same happenings have happened to people in the past. They are driven by Demons in a way that they appear good Muslims in the start, and later on after taking the victim’s trust, they demand polytheistic acts and doing wrong things. Only Allah knows best brother. Could you elaborate a little more? Probably then I can refer something to your interest.

And about the appearance of Jinn brother, they can appear in any form; from very beautiful to very ugly.

walaikumassalam,

in regards to your question –
“how do you know they are good jinn and they fight bad jinn?”

First i want to briefly describe my family background and my past life

I’m the only son of my family. My father has no brothers but has two sisters. i also have two sisters. I was out of study from the age of 13 to 18. And i suffered a lot i had ultiple suicide attempts I time was really bad for me and it was getting worse day after day. maybe “Deadly effect of the evil eye which was done to me” I didnt feel like living in this world anymore. All credits to allah that i didt get habituated in smoking or drink or committing jina.

A lot of unual things were discovered in my house which indiacted that they were done to me only. a tied rope was found in the kitchen. My parents took them to the hujurs then they burnt it and saidit was done to me (found when i was 19). They told me that i was frequantly under attack b close relatives who want to harm me. until i met my Uncle who is a born rich person and never demand anything from me for any material gains. He was my counceelor from then after. As far as i remember i was asked to do something may drink some ayat of the Quran soaked in a glass of water. i was told that bad jinns have possesed me it would take 40 days for it to leave from my body. After that I finished my high school after being an adult i did not study a single bit from my child hood 13 .Now i’m an associate diploma engineer age 23yrs.

our house continued to be discovered with harmfull things. under the bed of my younger sister a round fruit with the appearance of a halloween pumpkin . what i found that evrything i was doing was becoming bad and days again started to get worse. then after i went to the mosque and asked the Imam about it. the imam came to my house and took it away. he said he destroyed it .After that everything again became normal.

So as u can understand by the incredible recovery which i could make with the help of Allah. So I think the jiinns which posses me are good . I’ve been told by my uncle that they pray 5 times a day and would stay with me until I die. Each of them has different responsibilties that have been given to them. My uncle asked my to choose like 7 shells (that are found in the beaches) and drink the water with them in a glass . And since then i’ve been possesing them. I’ve been told that if i pray a lot with nafal namaz and do zikir i can see them . one night i tried and i could hear sound over the roof bu8t could see them.

The reason behind i find my uncle authentic is that he asked me to recite surah naas more during my prayers.

As Surah naas falaq and ayatul qursi are the ones that should be read during these situations. from the cure that uve mentioned in your cures.

In regards to “I’m sorry but it looks like a trap to me.”

Sir Can u please tell me what does that mean. Is it that i’m now confined or something.
Sir Allah knows best but can u please to a morakabah and and try to know more about me. As u are very close to Allah. I was Born in Bangladesh. I now live in Canada. my birth day is 1st may u also know my age by now.

Sir I also have a another quistion i heard that jinns appearing in human polated areas are haram for the jinns but recently i saw a jinn reciting Quran and praying in the mosque. the link is this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ouOXWgJS-gc

Since the jinn appear can i make the jinns who have possesed me appear in the form they really look Yes i believe they have been given the poer to change into any form I want to see them just as they look like naturally as Almighty Allah has created . i heard that they have twisted legs.

Sir thanks for a very prompt answer to my first question.

I’ll be waiting for ur reply

Alhamdullilah, I’m glad that you recovered. Finding of weird things at home are a sign of evil-jinn. Someone must have bewitched you or someone from your family, or may be the house. I’m glad that everything is fine now. Brother, you would know your uncle more than I do. From what you say, he seems to be a devoted person. Yet there are a few things which matter here.

First of all,

“i was asked to do something may drink some ayat of the Quran soaked in a glass of water.”
If you are still taking this, then I would recommend you to confirm if they really are Quran Verses. The only difference in Bewitching someone and Curing is that, some might use words of polytheism in Arabic and make it look like Quran Verses. What I fear is that, when such recommendations are used by patients they have to do it for many days. But, if you were asked to do this ONCE, then it could imply that it was something that put you under the influence of Jinn and that it might have Magic involved. Again, if you are sure they were/are Quran Verses then there is NO harm.

Another question is,

“i was told that bad jinns have possesed me it would take 40 days for it to leave from my body.”

Brother, were you told to stay away from water for 40 days? Like staying away from cleaning yourself?

About the statement I wrote that it looks like a trap, I mentioned that because, many people in the past have been driven away from religion in such ways. They are told by Jinn to do good things and then get friendly, and soon they start to help the person in worldly gains. When the person gets addicted to all this, the jinn then have an upper hand and ask the person to do bad things, in return for which they help the person further in life.

“And verily, there were men among mankind who took shelter with the masculine among the jinns, but they (jinns) increased them (mankind) in sin and disbelief.” (Surah al-Jinn: 06)

That is what I sensed before when I said that it looks like a trap to me. I do not mean to point at you since I’m not truly aware of the whole situation here. Yet, I would suggest you be careful. They might be good jinn and it is very nice to hear that your uncle suggests you to recite Surah Falaq and Surah Nas in your prayers. There is nothing wrong with it, just remember to be careful not to do something that possibly seems Shirk to you.

“i heard that jinns appearing in human polated areas are haram for the jinns”
No brother, it is not Haraam for jinn to appear in populated areas. The reason why they live away from populated areas is that, they do not want their children harmed in any way. It is one of the causes of possession, the Jinn claims that he possessed the victim because he stepped on my child and hurt him etc. When the fact that we cannot see them still they get harmed. So that is the reason why they live away from populated areas. Rest is up to them, if they think they can take care of themselves then they can live with humans.

About the appearance of Jinn brother, you can never see their true form. Their true form lies in another dimension. So basically we can never see their true appearance. Whenever they wish to appear in this world, they have to take on a 3d form and it is impossible for them to show their true form in 3-dimensions. Twisted legs and all such sayings depends on the jinn itself, if he wishes to appear in a way to scare people then he would do such things. However, I personally never found any authenticity in such stories. They are mostly imaginations and tales made up by people themselves.

Wa huwa ala kulli shay’in Qadeer.

Question, I want to get rid of Taweez

Dear sir,my name is ___, i use to go to a man who is a muslim religious person, he give many treatment by the help of jinn, he can tell the past and the future, he sometimes give taweez(writing some arab word in a paper) and we have to pay some amount of money for it, if anyone don’t have money he tell them to give the money to any mosque later, he always advice for salat, i sometimes go to him when there is any problem occure in my father’s job in ___, he give taweez ,and somedays everything goes well, then everything seems more worse, i just want to know, is it sin to go to such people for treatment ? I am from ___, today after reading your comment about jin i throw three taweez to water that was with my body that i took from him to go abroad, the another 20/30 taweez is still in a vessel filled with water that i’ve taken from him for the peace of my father’s job in ___, we are destroying day by day, going under loan, tension is high,

is there any problem if i remove all the taweez from the vessel and throw them into river, does the jinn do any harm by getting annoyed by this, please reply.

I’m sorry for the late reply,

Brother, A Muslim will never take a penny for helping his brother in such regards. It is the work of Munafiqeen. They claim to be Healers/Men of Allah but they lie, What they call Quran/Arabic words on paper are actually CHARMS, they use it for the Jinn to trace and work according to that Text. It is always a language that is hard for common men to understand, and it is nothing more than polytheistic incantations to please the Demons and the demons in return help the people.

Brother, Taweez are Haraam. I have written an article on it here (http://jinndemons.com/taweez-in-islam-amulets/)

After reading this you will now be able to understand the real meaning of all that is happening to you. Brother what you describe as “things get better but then worse” is all the work of Jinn. People like these appear as Men of Allah and misguide people and once misguided, they ask for benefits for themselves. The knowledge of the Past and the Future rests with Allah ONLY, what they say is with the help of Jinn and it is HARAAM brother, beware of such people.

Jinn trace Taweez and work according to what the Magician writes in that Taweez, but the jinn work under the command of this Magician. First, he tells the Jinn to help your father, and then when he wants to get more money, he tells the jinn to come back and even tell the jinn to damage your father/family’s health etc, so that you can come back to him and give him more money for help.

Brother, I am shocked at the number of Taweez you have. To cancel the affect of Taweez, you should not simply throw them into the River, You should Open them with reciting Ayat-ul-Kursi continuously and You should be in a Clean state. Open the taweez one by one and Burn it. Or if it has the Text written with a soluble Ink then Dissolve it in Water on which you have recited Ayat-ul-kursi (verse 255: Surah Baqara). Best way still is to Burn them.

REMEMBER, if you throw the Taweez into a River then the affect will last as long as the taweez is in its original form. You Must cancel the affect as soon as possible.

Brother we are Muslims, Sunnah has many better and blessed ways to fulfill our dreams. You may pray for your father’s success and seek help from Allah instead of the Demons. & Indeed Allah is the Most Merciful.

Comment

Thanks brother for the reply, now i am in fear that if i burn the rest of the taweez that is now stored in a water vessel in my house, does any harm will happen for this? I am in confusion brother, please show me a way, i have another question, recently one of my relative take me to another charmer, he is telling me that some of my relative has done charm against us,and burried something like pig bone, busturd child’s bone, coal of the burning hindu, and kufri taweez in the yard of our home, so that we may not establish in life, and now he wants 10,000 taka from us to put out them from our home, please describe me it is true or false or is it possible to stop someones prosperity by doing any charm ? JajakAllah…

Reply

Brother Please do not fall for theses Munafiqeen (May Allaah’s Curse be upon them!). If you go to Any Charmer, they will ALL say the SAME thing. That you or your family member is under the effect of Sihr and that you Must pay them to free you from the evil etc etc. Brother, a True healer will NEVER ask for money. However it Does not mean that you can go to a charmer who wont take money, because sooner or later he will bring you to the point when you will be helpless.

Brother there is nothing to worry about. If you fear destroying it, do not. It is the fear put into your heart by the Jinn so that you do not destroy it. Have faith.

Remove all the amulets attached to your body and take ghusl (bath).
Recite ayat-ul-kursi and the last three Surahs as much as you can.
Also the dua: “La ilaaha illallaahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul mulkoo walahul hamdo, wahuwa alaa kulli shay’in qadeer.” as much as you can.
Answers to Multiple Questions #04 about-jinn

Wa’alaikum As Salaam brother,

Q:“The female Jinni, after their age of puberty, can bear children after every three month. They can give birth 40 jinns at a time. So rapidly reproduce every year. More interestingly the Jinn’s child can walk after one hour of his/her birth.”

A: Brother we are never sure of statements. We believe that Jinn tell many lies, It does not mean that we are sure of a fact and that the jinn lie about them but a jinn will say something likewise when another jinn would say something that is contradicting to the first. However, When lies/rumors are spread too much then they become reality. There is a Hadith that has a Weak chain and often ignored by the scholars. It is that,

“The jinn have children in the same way that the sons of Adam have children, but theirs are more in number”

It was related by ibn Abu Haatim and Abu al-Shaikh in al-Udhma, on the authority of Qataada.

Which implies what you said that they have more children. About children of jinn able to walk within the next hour of their birth, it is still unknown. I will come to this in the answers I am going to write bellow to your other questions.

Q:”Can the Jinns be felt in the wind like walking near the beaches were gust of wind is quite common ?”

A: Wahb ibn Munabih (An Old Scholar) said, “The jinn are of different kinds. One is a pure jinn, and that is like a wind that does not eat or drink, nor does it die or procreate. And there is a class of them that does eat, drink, procreate and has sex and dies. And those are those female demons and desert demons and similar others.”

Refer, lawaami al-anwaar 2/222 by ibn Jarir atTabari.

But what Wahb said is itself in need of evidence and cannot be considered a proof on its own. Everything will perish, and there are no jinn that do not die when the Quran speaks of it, except for Satan. Refer: Do Jinn & Demons Die?

I’m sorry I got off the topic but, about your questions. Most of the Exorcists through experience commonly believe that jinn can touch, hurt, and possess their victims. They describe this ‘Touch’ as a feeling of a wind slipping by ones skin. However they do not mention the strength of this wind if it is comparable to a gust of wind like that on beaches.

Q:“How are the Jins buried if they die? do they have graveyards like us? How many efreets are there in the world alive now?”

A: Well brother nobody is sure of that, even we are not sure of how many strong leaders we have in our World of Mankind. If you could ask them from the Jinn you possess

Q:“is there like a kingdom where the efreet stays. Do they have a place like the undergriund?”

A: Jinn are known to live underground and within water. Because of their dwellings most jinn carry a foul stench. Many of them avoid the daylight and usually come out during the night and hide in the shade of the sunlight outdoors & in the shades of water streams. This fact has also been confirmed through experience and by many researchers.

Q:“Since the Jinns can tracel up to the heaven to steal information. Can they be in other places in the universe like mars or thousands of galaxies away?”

A: Brother, I personally have thought about this phenomenon before, and I take a Hadith to this issue that is, the Prophet (saw) said,

“There are three types of jinn: one that flies through the air, one that are snakes and dogs, and one which stay in places and travel about…”

Only a type of them can fly and those are the ones who would steal information in the past. But they would still have to come back for something. The article I have written about Food and Drink of the Jinn, that suggest the jinn, if are able to survive outside of this planet without Air (oxygen), they would still have to come back for food in order to survive.
Another thought that will clarify your doubts is that, it was not a single jinn that used to go up to the heavens, they would form a chain of multiple jinn, who would pass the knowledge on to one another and that way reach the soothsayers. They would probably exchange their positions in order to survive and even take something to eat along this journey. Allah knows Best, but I believe they stay in this world for

1 – Lead Mankind Astray (as Satan is their leader)
2 – If there are Rebels among them they still have to stay in this world for food.

Q: “Do jinns need oxygen to breath?”

A: It still depends on their TYPES*. But there are some that Do Not require Oxygen. The ones who fly are obvious, other than that the ones who live in water are proven through experience and Also from the Quran, that the Jinn who were subservient to Solomon (as)’s command, who would dive into the depths of Oceans and bring jewels and pearls from the depths bellow.

“And (We gave him – Solomon) certain of the jinn who worked before him by permission of his Lord. And such of them as deviated from Our command, them We caused to taste the punishment of flaming fire. They made for him what he willed: Synagogues and statues, basins like wells and boilers built into the ground”” (Saba 12-13).

Q:“People/witches who practice occult have a lot of material gains? Are they the richest people in the world now?”

A: Brother, the people I know that work with Jinn are by far Billionaires. So called healers of Allah, they use the help of Jinn to help people through many ways of their lives. They do not require looting a bank with Jinn.

On the other hand Witches and Pagan worshiper do not get people like the above to ask for their help with their lives because the people of today in the west do not believe in the Unknown (Unseen). They believe more in Science than Faith and Religion.

Coming to the other side of your questions, you mean to say why they don’t rob the banks with the help of their demons etc, it is kept reserved by both the parties.

First of all, you would notice famous TV magicians, perform shocking feats of magic, and then he performs very SIMPLE tricks that can be easily guessed by the viewers. That completes the illusion. He believes that when people come to guess how the Simple trick works, they can imagine that whatever the magician does is mere an illusion, hiding the reality of demons working for him.

The other party (Demons). They all work under Satan,

“The Greatest Trick the Devil Ever Pulled. Was Convincing the World he Didn’t Exist”
I believe it is one of the Vows of the agreement between a witch and a demon that they should not expose their existence. Because today, if an atheist come to see something that defies Scientific explanation, then he would start to question, and all of the world would start believing in the Unseen and in God and Religion.

That is the reason why Major Actions are reserved and restricted among these Witches and their Demons. Allah knows Best.

Q:“Is Qareen the inherent jinn among us is like the angel who on the right and left shoulders writing everything down?”

A: The Prophet Muhammad (saw) said:

“Every one of you has been assigned a companion from the Jinn. The companions asked: Even you O’ Messenger of Allah? And the Prophet replied: Even me, except that Allah has helped me against him and he has submitted.”

Yes, it is believed that Qareen accompanies every person from their mother’s womb to their death. After the person dies, the Qareen still exist in this world if Allah Wills. This has been proven by magicians (so-called servants of Allah) that go to graveyards after a person dies, and he tries to capture his Qareen, or if not, he may even gather information about the person who recently died. That way if relatives of the person dead come to him, he can fool them by telling the dead person’s secrets and will to his family members.

Q:“Does the Qareen pray salah? If even it is of a nonmuslim person?”

A: Some scholars are of the belief that when Prophet (pbuh) said that
“…Even me, except that Allah has helped me against him and he has submitted.”
He meant that his Qareen had become a Muslim, and that shaytaan can convert to Islam if they wish. However some scholars disagree with this and they say that the Qareen is always a Demon that lures people to do bad things; and that the Qareen of the Prophet (pbuh) did not convert to Islam but in fact Allah had protected the Prophet (pbuh) from Demons throughout his life, and that it was a Special privilege for the Prophet/s alone. We also come to know about the EXTRA guardians sent down from heavens to protect the Prophet (saw) from Demons when revelations would come down to Muhammad (saw) in Surat al-Jinn. I personally agree to the latter statement of the scholars. Because I believe the Qareen bound to a person is for the reason to lure his mind towards bad things; just like we have a special Angel that gives us Conscience to do Good things (the one which does not follow a person to places where there are statues/pictures of living beings or where there is a dog).

Q:“Is it true the sufis (oli Allah ) are still alive and controlling the world now. they are the ones who r fighting againtst the evil?”

A: No brother, those who pass away from this world move into the Intermediate Realm (Alam barzakh), which is a different dimension. Unfortunately, most Muslims believe that the spirits (rooh) of their people still live in this world. It is what has made Necromancy popular, where a Medium (magician) calls upon spirits of the dead. It originated somewhere in the history of Christianity and some of the higher priests of Christianity deny it.

Truth is, Alam e Brzakh is a dimension where the souls are locked in till the day of resurrection, when they will be brought back for questioning only. This has a lot to do with the Qareen. Most of the Muslims are fooled by the Qareen of their relatives when they appear in the form of Spirits. If not, common demons may take the form of loved ones to a person by reading their minds (or ask the client’s qareen on how the loved ones look like).
There is a true happening of such an incident to a Scholar who wrote down all of the experience he went through. When he believed in the spirits of the Dead living this surface, and tried to talk to his Father and how it ended. It is a long story I will post someday. But the scholar himself stressed on believing in the reality that the spirits of great people do not live the earth after they pass away. They are locked in the Alam-e-Barzakh. That is what Islam teaches us and that is what we should believe in.

Q: “Is wearing a black dress bad? does that attract evil jinns?”

Ibn Taimiya said, “The black dog is the devil of the dogs. And the jinn often take its form. Similarly, they take the form of a black cat. The color black has the greatest strength for the devils as opposed to other colors; in it is the power of the heat.”
Depends on the jinn itself, really.

Q: “is sleep paralysis caused by evil jinns? is it some sort of indication?”

A: Most people believe that it is caused by demons; I will look into its medical aspects and finalize this issue.

Q: “How can a jinn fall in love with a person? Does he appear himself as a attractive man then they fall in love or how?”

A: Depends on the Jinn, A demon might fall in love with a man that is sinful. Likewise a Good jinn would fall in love with a good person.

Q: “Is it possible for jinns and mankind being married? If possible is their children are jinns or mankind?”

A: http://www.jinndemons.com/marriage-between-the-jinn-and-humans/
The paragraph “Today, in the United Arab Emirates, there…” would answer your second question.

Q: “Is witch a women or men? Are most of the people who practice occult are women?”

A: ‘Witch’ refers to both, men & women. Their majority depends on their locality. Witches are often Women in the west and Men in the east.

Q: “Can jinns be stored in a bottle like we see in the movies? can we put all the bottles in the bottle?”

A: It is known widely, that jinn are imprisoned by people in Bottles/Vessels etc. They sometimes help in curing possessed people, since it involves another jinn to force the attacker jinn into the bottle/vessel. So they would sometimes let the jinn go since they both share the same cause.

Q: “what are the israelis searching for under the al- aksa mosque? During that time i read somwhere that all the magic was kept there?”

A: There has been a lot of conspiracies about this. In fact, it is true that Solomon had buried the books of magic under his throne. We Muslims believe that temple of Solomon = Masjid Aqsa, when the Jews believe that there was a Temple before but then Muslims build mosque above that temple. Now some scholars believe that Dajjal will have the staff of Moses and the Ring of Solomon, the ring which scholars believe Allah gave to Solomon. It was a ring used by Solomon to torture the Jinn who would not follow his commands.

It is most likely that ring which the masons are after. They think that the ring itself was buried under his temple. But I personally do not agree with this, What I feel is that. Dajjal will not be someone who is going to be one of us, but will be a person sent down from the Arsh. He would be sent by Allah ONLY to test the people and judge them. Masjid Aqsa, the First mosque built on earth, and a Mosque from where Muhammad (saw) ascended to the Heavens (Miraj). It has to have a lot of significance in this matter. I believe they are setting up the place for Dajjal’s arrival from above.

Q: “If they recover it can we expect a harder future for muslims?”

A: Magic was already extracted thousand years ago, problem could be Dajjal but with his arrival Jesus (as) would be back for the Muslims too. So it won’t be a hard future after all.

Q: “If the qareen who guides us to go astray then why can we hear the qareen whisper as the qareen speaks with the soothsayer?”

A: Because he is a jinn? If everyone could see Allah with their own eyes, where would the test be then? Soothsayers say that it is like, somebody puts something in a box. Not just soothsayers but other people who deal with jinn. They get a new thought in their mind, a new idea they never know of before.

Q: “i hope my curiosity will make your site more informative for others.”

Indeed brother, JazakAllah.

Question, three questions about witchcraft, visiting a witch

Bismillah Hir Rahman Nir Raheem

I was told a few months back that black magic was performed on me in Pakistan by a relative to oppose a marriage proposal. My father had doubt about sihr being involved and had 3 sources confirm this by asking those who practice witchraft. I was against this proposal for a very long time so I don’t know if it was sihr that made me reject this proposal or myself, or both. However, I was in doubt that another taaveez was done against me by the same relative and am not sure how to determine if it was done against me.
I have a few questions, if you could please answer:

1.) Is it haraam to go to someone who performs witchcraft to determine if someone has performed black magic against you?

2.) Is there any way of confirming that someone has done black magic against you?

3.) Is reciting the 4 Qul sufficient enough to remove the black magic? And for how long must one recite it?

Jazakallahu Khairan

Reply As salam u alaikum brother,

What you describe is often related to Magic and one should always be careful in matters as such. I will answer your questions first.

“1.) Is it haraam to go to someone who performs witchcraft to determine if someone has performed black magic against you?”

Yes brother, according to the Sunnah it is haraam, In fact, Witches are to be executed Publicly according MOST of the scholars such as Ibn Qudama, Imaam Maalik, Ibn Khateer. Some however say that they should be killed only when they kill another with their witchcraft. But still, causing FASAAD and the breaking of a relation between loved ones for the sake of Shaytaan alone calls for execution.

Narrated AbuHurayrah: The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: The price paid for a dog, the price given to a soothsayer, and the hire paid to a prostitute are not lawful. (Book #23, Hadith #3477) Sunan AbuDawud

In fact brother, it is for OUR best. Because, these magicians, they ALWAYS lie to people that they have been bewitched! This is their business. Soon they ask you to meet them and then they give you a taweez to keep you happy for a few days and then tell the jinn to worsen your case so you can come back to them and pay them more money. So it is haraam for our own benefits.

“2.) Is there any way of confirming that someone has done black magic against you?”
Yes brother, it is found by looking for symptoms in the patient. For instance, if you look into the types of Magic and their Symptoms I have written on this website.

If you had the same symptoms then it could be that you were affected. Another way is to go to a true healer as he performs an exorcism. By healer you may take an Imaam of your Masjid. He shall put his hand on your forehead and recite the specific verses of the Quran and if you really are bewitched, and if the taweez still exist, then the jinn appointed to the task will come into your body and the Imaam can then get rid of him. If the Imaam is not sure of what questions to ask the Jinn then I will write the procedure in detail soon. You can tell your father/uncle to perform this ruqya for you. If, somehow, you do not feel anything uncomfortable or numbness in your body when the Ruqya is performed then it is unlikely that you are bewitched, and chances are that the Sihr has gone away by Allaah’s Leave.

Here is a recitation of the Ruqya, you may listen to it and notice if you feel any numbness or any uncomfortable feeling. If you do then it could be a sign that you are bewitched.
Download Here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1518581/Ruqya%20%28Cure%20Magic%29.mp3

“3.) Is reciting the 4 Qul sufficient enough to remove the black magic? And for how long must one recite it?”

Actually brother, it is sufficient to burn the jinn as he tries to accomplish his mission in persuading you. Yet if a magician has tied a CHARM (taweez), then you will have to go through the Ruqya, in order to ask the Jinn where the Charm is Hidden. You will need to destroy that Charm/Burn it.

The jinn burn with the recitation of the Quran, but the Sahir (Witch) forces the jinn to accomplish his mission. So even though the jinn burns, yet he tries to fulfill the task he is forced to do. So for that reason it is best to recite Ayat-ul-kursi and last three Surahs as much as one can, especially in cases which are sensitive to the matter you explained.

and Allaah is the Hearer of All.

Comment

I would think that finding the witch that performed the black magic would be quite difficult because I would have to consult with the relative who went to a witch for the marriage proposal and I am told to avoid this person and prevent them from attaining any of my belongings in order to stop them from taking something of mine to take to the witch for a scent, in case they want to repeat this action.

I live in the U.S. and don’t plan on visiting anyone who practices witchcraft ever, but my family members are suspicious that this relative has done taaveez against my education because she was and has always been extremely envious of my success in school. My sudden faltering in school began shortly after she visited Pakistan and visited a witch to make me reject the marriage proposal.

Her (my relative’s) grandfather practiced witchery & was knowledgable in various types of taaveez in Pakistan and she has also visited a witch to secure a marriage proposal for her daughter. She often visits my house, oblivious to the fact that my family members are well aware of what she has done against me and my family.

Islamically speaking, how must one consult someone they know/suspect of meddling in their affairs by the use of witches? If the witch is to be executed for causing fasaad, what is to be said of one who will visit another witch to continue her ways? My family isn’t allowed to mention anything to her in fear that she will continue to do a hundred more taaveez.
In your symptoms of a patient, I had extreme hatred for the man my family members wanted me to marry, attempted to commit suicide twice, was very violent, shady and mentally anguished when my family members attempted to force this marriage on me (which I know is forbidden in Islam too, but that is a different matter).

Will anything happen by listening to the ruqya, such as a seizure of any sort if there is a jinn, or does that only occur if you have someone attempt to perform an exorcism on you?

Jazakallahu Khairan. I cannot express how grateful I am to you for your reply, it has helped a lot.

JazakaAllah for the blessings sister,

“Islamically speaking, how must one consult someone they know/suspect of meddling in their affairs by the use of witches?”

It is always good to forgive such people and leave them to Allah’s will. However, if it a family matter then one can gather the elders and clarify the doubts with a final verdict. But that is after you have proof that they really had bewitched you.

“If the witch is to be executed for causing fasaad, what is to be said of one who will visit another witch to continue her ways?”

I forgot to write this before but there is no sin upon anyone until they come to know of the facts and the rule according to the Quran and Sunnah. But there are Hadith which follow a strong chain and it says that whosoever goes to a soothsayer/sahir has disbelieved in what has been revealed to Muhammad (peace be upon him), and that his prayers will not be accepted for 40 days. But this does not apply to you/your family since you were not aware of it, but from now on it will apply.

“Will anything happen by listening to the ruqya, such as a seizure of any sort if there is a jinn, or does that only occur if you have someone attempt to perform an exorcism on you?”
Most people that are bewitched through serious Sihr, have had the seizures and the jinn has spoken through them. So it is better to have someone with you, someone that is na-mahrim (someone unlawful to marry, like your brother/uncle/father). Just in case the jinn appointed to the task speak through you, there should be someone who can speak to the jinn and ask him where the charm is buried/hidden.

If you personally were not willing to marry that person then there should not be any jinn involved, i-e, if you had the same feelings for that person before the proposal.

Pray to Allah for guidance and He is the Hearer of All.
Wa huwa ala kulli shay’in qadeer.

Question, If Jinn can go up to the heavens, then…

Most of the people wish to know that when Jinn can go up to the heavens and when they steal information about the future and the fact that they witness the inevitable reality, then why do they still act so rebellious?

The problem is that the very Muslims of our world, even we do not follow our religion completely. Most of us focus on worldly gains and want to become Singers and Celebrities with fans. It never makes sense if perceived from a 3rd perspective. Such a life is meaningless and merely vanity. Yet it is human nature that he finds exposure more tempting.

Fact is, Iblees has been given respite till the Day of Judgment as we learn from the Quran. When all the other jinn die with the passage of time, seeing one jinn (iblees) immortal and the strongest of them all, then indeed it is Iblees who leads his Race (the jinn); either by force or via temptation. We do not know what Iblees spreads among his race every day, but it seems that other jinn want to be like him and be immortal. Iblees can keep lying to them and bring them on the wrong side. Allah knows best if it is Iblees himself that forces the jinn to go and steal information from the heavens even when it is risking their lives. Many exorcism reports imply that the jinn appointed to the task is a Muslim but he is forced by his clan chieftain to work for the Sahir (Witch); if not then he will be punished.

If we read Surah Jinn, you realize where it says that the Jinn said,

“‘And that the foolish among us [i.e. Iblees (Satan) or the polytheists amongst the jinns] used to utter lies against Allah that which was wrong and not right.” (Al-Jinn: 04)

It proves that Satan spreads lies in order to keep their trust by promising them eternal life, and higher status like he himself has. Indeed most of the jinn would follow him for apparent immortality.

Questions about Qareen (Jinn Companion)

With reference to the Qareen who is assigned to every human, Do muslims have muslim Qareens, and vice versa?

Does a muslim have a non-muslim Qareen?

How can one communicate with his / her Qareen for a peaceful co-existence?

Is it possible to make the Qareen a believer for benefit of both of us ( Me and my Qareen)?
Answers

For those who do no know what a Qareen is, they may refer to Types and Categories of Jinn.

With reference to the Qareen who is assigned to every human, Do muslims have muslim Qareens, and vice versa? Does a muslim have a non-muslim Qareen?

I would like to quote the Hadith here again,
Abdullah b. Mas’ud reported that Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: There is none amongst you with whom is not an attache from amongst the jinn (devil). They (the companions) said: Allah’s Messenger, with you too? Thereupon he said: Yes, but Allah helps me against him and so I am safe from his hand and he does not command me but for good. (Book #039, Hadith #6757) Muslim.

The hadith implies that the Jinn = Evil jinn, or meaning a Devil. Because the part, where it says “but Allah helps me against him” means that the jinn is Evil, and that Allaah has helped the Prophet (pbuh) because the Jinn was Evil. If it were a Muslim, the prophet (pbuh) would not have said that Allaah has helped him against it.

How can one communicate with his / her Qareen for a peaceful co-existence?
There are scholars of the opinion that “Allaah has helped him against it.” means that the jinn has embraced Islam. But then some scholars are of the opinion that No, “Allaah has helped him against it.” means that the Jinn is a Shaytaan, and Allaah has helped Protect the Prophet (pbuh) from him (Shaytan).

I personally agree with the latter one. Since it is a Devil, it is more plausible that he is from the army of Satan (Iblees), set by Satan to distract Mankind.

(iblis) said: “Because You have sent me astray, surely I will sit in wait against them (human beings) on Your Straight Path.”

(Al-A’raaf, Chapter #7, Verse #16)

Iblees must be rewarding all of them with goods in their own world. So it is unlikely to say that Qareen can be a Muslim since he is a follower of Iblees in the first place.

How can one communicate with his / her Qareen for a peaceful co-existence?Is it possible to make the Qareen a believer for benefit of both of us (Me and my Qareen)?
I believe the answer is No. Because, like we discussed before, Qareen is actually a Devil from the army of Iblees. People who can communicate with Qareen are actually Magicians/Soothsayers, they themselves work for Iblees and who share the same cause. Magicians use the Jinn they have to communicate with the person’s Qareen. Otherwise, a Muslims cannot communicate with a Devil. Because the only ways possible are ways that require Shirk and Forbidden polytheistic acts.

Taking help from a Jinn in Sickness

Question
What is the ruling on asking the jinn for help in finding out about the evil eye or magic [i.e., who did it and what type it is], or believing a jinn who is residing in a sick person in what he says about magic and the evil eye, and taking action based on that?

Answer
It is not permissible to seek the help of the jinn in finding about what the problem is and how to treat it, because seeking the help of the jinn is shirk. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“And verily, there were men among mankind who took shelter with the males among the jinn, but they (jinn) increased them (mankind) in sin and transgression”

[al-Jinn 72:6]

“And on the Day when He will gather them (all) together (and say): ‘O you assembly of jinn! Many did you mislead of men,’ and their Awliyaa’ (friends and helpers) amongst men will say: ‘Our Lord! We benefited one from the other, but now we have reached our appointed term which You did appoint for us.’ He will say: ‘The Fire be your dwelling place, you will dwell therein forever, except as Allaah may will. Certainly your Lord is All-Wise, All-Knowing’”

[al-An’aam 6:128]

The meaning of the phrase ‘We benefited one from the other’ is that the men venerated the jinn and submitted to them and sought help from them, and the jinn served them by doing what they wanted and bringing them what they asked for. That includes informing them of the type of sickness and its causes, because the jinn can come to know of things that humans cannot; but they may tell lies, because they cannot be trusted, and it is not permissible to believe them.

Ruling on seeking help from the Qareen Jinn Companion

Question
There is a person who appears outwardly to be righteous, but he says that he treats people by means of the qareen (i.e., his qareen asks the sick person’s qareen, and he tells him about the sickness). Please note that he does not ask the sick person about his mother’s name. What is the ruling on this action? And what is the ruling on going to these people?

Answer
There are many actions contrary to sharee’ah that are done by some of those who treat sickness with ruqyah, even if they are righteous people. The shaytaan finds a way to confuse them and make them do and say things that are haraam.

One of these things that are contrary to sharee’ah is seeking the help of the jinn, whether that is seeking the help of the qareen or anything else. All of that is tricks of the Shaytaan and ways in which he deceives those people.

The scholars of the Standing Committee in KSA were asked:

In some cases of sickness which the doctors are unable to treat, we recite over them verses of ruqyah a certain number of times, without it appearing to have any effect on them. But we have discovered a way to make our qareen speak to the qareen of the sick person! By means of which we are able to find out the nature of the sickness, and many cases have been treated in this manner, whereby we ask the sick person to repeat the phrase Bismillaahi awwalahu wa aakhirahu whilst breathing in, then after a while we speak to the qareen.

Islamically prescribed ruqyah is reciting Soorat al-Faatihah, Aayat al-Kursiy, Soorat al-Ikhlaas,, al-Mi’wadhatyan, verses of Qur’aan, and Prophetic du’aa’s that are proven to be narrated from the Messenger of Allaah (blessings and peace of Allaah be upon him). It is not permissible to seek the help of the jinn which you call the qareen to ask him about the type of disease suffered by the sick person, because seeking the help of the jinn is ascribing partners to Allaah, may He be glorified and exalted. What you have to do is repent to Allaah from that and give up this method, and limit it to the ruqyahs that are prescribed in sharee’ah. May Allaah help us all to do that which pleases Him. And Allaah is the source of strength. May Allaah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions.

Shaykh ‘Abd al-‘Azeez ibn Baaz, Shaykh ‘Abd al-‘Azeez Aal al-Shaykh, Shaykh ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Ghadyaan, Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan, Shaykh Bakr Abu Zayd

Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa’imah (24/287-289)

They were also asked about seeking the help of the jinn to find out about the evil eye or witchcraft, and also about believing the jinni who is possessing the sick person because of witchcraft and the evil eye, and relying on what he says.

They replied: It is not permissible to seek the help of the jinn to find out about the nature of the problem and the type of remedy with which to treat it, because seeking the help of the jinn is shirk.

Certainly your Lord is All‑Wise, All‑Knowing’”

[al-An’aam 6:128]

What is meant by benefiting from one another is that the humans venerated the jinn, submitted to them and sought refuge with them, and the jinn served them by doing what they wanted and bringing to them what they demanded, which included telling them about the type of disease and its causes, things that the jinn can see but not humans. But they may be lying, because they are not trustworthy and it is not permissible to believe them.

And Allaah is the source of strength. May Allaah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions.
